High quality sound reproduction is as important as high definition picture quality. Often it is the sound which lets down a wedding video because unless the camera is very close to the people speaking, the microphone built into the camera will not be able to pick up the sound properly. Obviously it is not desirable (and usually impossible) to have the camera very close to the people speaking and therefore our solution is to use a discretely placed radio microphone worn by the groom only which records the vows, the prayers and the blessing with crystal clear quality. General sound such as the music will be recorded on separate tracks from other microphones.
A similar system is used for the speeches with the microphone fitted to a stand allowing the camera to be placed away from top table with no wires attached, usually right at the back of the room away from the speech makers and guests.
Detailed Planning & Preparation
We use a tried and trusted planning template to ensure that nothing is left to chance and that every detail has been considered carefully. Behind the scenes we will prepare a 'story-board’ and compile a 'shooting schedule' complete with timings and will know the exact running order for the day. We will have researched the routes we will need to get to the locations and we will discuss and agree with you a format and style for the finished production.
